BP Moorebank has unveiled its brand-new service station, setting a new benchmark for consumer experience and technology in the region.
The site, developed by Pump Group, features the advanced Wayne Helix 6000 II fuel dispensers and Wayne Helix 6000 II B2B AdBlue dispensers, chosen for their superior performance and reliability.
The project was spearheaded by Nick Talevski, Managing Director of Pump Group, who acquired the leasehold of the BP Moorebank site after being approached by the Simonetta family, former operators of Food Lover’s.
The redevelopment transformed the location from a retail bulky goods building into a vibrant, one-stop service station and fast-food hub.
As a relatively new player in the service station industry, Pump Group aimed to go the “extra mile” for motorists.
The vision was to create a site that was not only functional but also inviting and modern, with a strong emphasis on “creating a vibe” for consumers.
After extensive research, Pump Group selected Wayne fuel dispensers for their quiet operation, low maintenance requirements, and notably faster flow rates — especially at the start of fuelling — compared to other options on the market.
The decision was further reinforced by their positive experience with Wayne dispensers during a previous upgrade at BP Yagoona, which addressed escalating maintenance needs from older equipment.
The result is a service station that is both bright and colourful, offering a comprehensive range of services for customers.
The new dispensers have contributed to a seamless fueling experience, and the site’s design has been widely praised by visitors.
“Customers have been blown away by the new site. From start to finish, Paula Correa, DFS Regional Sales Manager and crew were fantastic to deal with.
“Paula was also present on day one of trading and I really respected that. Communication was always there, and it is always thorough throughout the entire project.
“Pump Group will definitely look to use DFS dispensers when the next service station project comes up,” said Nick Talevski, Managing Director, Pump Group.
With the successful launch of BP Moorebank, Pump Group continues to demonstrate its commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, setting a high standard for future service station developments across Australia.
