CGG launches AI cloud solution to power up data-driven businesses

Global technology and high-performance computing (HPC) leader CGG announced the launch of its AI Cloud solution, designed to accelerate and optimise demanding AI workloads for industries like life sciences, digital media, manufacturing, and geoscience.

This new offering combines cutting-edge technology with expert support. CGG’s AI Cloud features the latest high-performance architecture, including NVIDIA’s H100 Tensor Core GPUs, specifically configured for AI tasks.

Additionally, a pre-installed software environment can be tailored to each client’s needs.

CGG’s team of experts manages the complexities of cloud computing and infrastructure, allowing clients to focus on maximising production and unlocking valuable insights.

Businesses can further enhance their AI capabilities by combining CGG’s AI Cloud with their Outcome-as-a-Service (OaaS) offering.

“Demand for AI, data science and HPC workloads is growing exponentially as forward-looking companies seek to harness the power of deep learning, large language models and large-scale intelligent data processing to automate and revolutionise their complex business tasks to drive innovation and stay competitive.

“In response, CGG has launched its AI Cloud offering to provide the end-to-end AI solutions they need to efficiently streamline these workloads while meeting sustainability commitments,” said Agnès Boudot, EVP, HPC & Cloud Solutions at CGG.

Building on its 70-year legacy in scientific computing, CGG’s AI Cloud is optimised for energy-efficient, industrial-scale production.

The company plans to continuously improve the offering through partnerships, ensuring clients have access to the latest hardware and software advancements in the rapidly evolving AI landscape.
