Expro secures contracts from super-major operators in Gulf of America

22 May, 2025
Expro

Two prominent super-major operators in the Gulf of America have awarded Expro multi-year Tubular Running Services (TRS) contracts, which collectively are valued at over $80 million. The contracts will cover operations on both deepwater drill ships and platform rigs.

These agreements will incorporate some of Expro’s most advanced technologies, including the award-winning Centri-FI™ platform, which serves as the operational hub for driving efficiencies.

This technology aims to reduce personnel requirements, eliminate red zone entries, and enhance repeatability to optimise performance.

In partnership with these operators, Expro will also deploy its Rig Integration ‘Driller’s Control’ Package, iTong™, along with cutting-edge completions technologies.

These components are essential for supporting upcoming developments throughout the contract duration, including 20K developments that require the industry’s highest calibre technologies.

Jeremy Angelle, Vice President of Well Construction for Expro in the US, said: “Securing these long-term agreements with two of the world’s leading operators underscores the trust placed in Expro to deliver innovative and reliable solutions in demanding offshore environments.

“Our advanced technologies – including Centri-FI™ and iTong™ – are reshaping what’s possible in tubular running services, enhancing safety, reducing personnel exposure, and driving consistent performance.

“We are proud to continue supporting these critical developments and remain committed to advancing operational excellence in the Gulf of America.”
