EZ Ops, a division of Detechtion Technologies and a provider of mobile oilfield management solutions, has announced the formation of a Customer Advisory Board (CAB) to accelerate the advancement of mobile solutions and digitalisation within the oilfield sector.
The newly established board brings together a diverse group of industry experts, each contributing extensive experience and insight to help shape the future of EZ Ops’ product offerings and address the pressing challenges of digitising core operational functions in oil and gas.
“We are extremely excited to have such a dynamic group of Board Members adding their experiences, insights, and perspectives to help drive our EZ Ops product roadmap while discussing and addressing current industry challenges related to digitising the core operational functions of the oilfield,” commented Tracy Gray, Strategic Business Director- Mobile Oilfield Products and Executive Sponsor-EZ Ops Customer Advisory Board for Detechtion.
EZ Ops’ platform is designed as a single, mobile solution for essential oilfield operations, including HSE, Maintenance, Inspections, Task Management, Ticketing and Hauling, Production Management, Tank Management, and Digital Logbook, among others.
The modular approach allows customers to select only the features they need, ensuring both operational efficiency and adherence to budget constraints.
By enabling field technicians to enter data directly at the source, EZ Ops eliminates the inefficiencies of paper-based processes and redundant data entry, streamlining workflows and reducing the administrative burden.
Automated data trending, reporting, and validation further simplify decision-making, with the potential to save millions of dollars in efficiency gains over time.
“With layoffs announced earlier this year, the oilfield is expected to produce more with fewer people, specifically in the field,” stated Patrick Herren, EZ Ops Product Champion.
“We are seeing small to mid-size operators now looking for easy, digital solutions.
“EZ Ops is a perfect first step for them.”
The inaugural CAB, which boasts over 150 years of combined industry knowledge, will officially commence in July 2025.
Each member will serve a one-year term.
The board includes Kendell Esau (Tourmaline Oil Corp), Emily Dippold (Highland Field Services), Adam Lonseth (Strathcona Resources Ltd), Justin Koonce (Devon), Miranda Verney (Shell Canada Limited), Tracy Kisell (Parallax), Rurik Tullio (Tourmaline Oil Corp), Dev Rathore (Axip Energy Services), Filip Prcic (ARC Resources), Vittorio Spoldi (Shell Canada Limited), and Steve Gonwick (Pacific Canbriam).
“The EZ Ops Customer Advisory Board is a crucial element of our commitment to customer-centric innovation,” stated William Standifird, CEO of Detechtion.
“We appreciate the time and insights of our CAB members and look forward to building stronger partnerships that drive the future of mobile oilfield management technology to the oil and gas industry.”
The creation of the CAB underscores EZ Ops’ and Detechtion’s shared commitment to innovation, operational efficiency, and customer collaboration as the oil and gas industry continues its digital transformation.
