MODS has announced a significant two-year contract with one of the world’s largest offshore engineering consultancies.
This agreement will see the consultancy implement MODS Connect, a cutting-edge software suite designed to digitalise and streamline asset lifecycle management across its global offshore energy operations.
Under the contract, MODS Connect Work Pack will be the first module deployed, followed by additional modules — Materials, Integrity, and Fabrication — in a phased rollout.
This scalable approach ensures flexibility and controlled implementation, delivering long-term value across multiple projects worldwide.
MODS Connect is a cloud-based platform that replaces manual processes with digital workflows, improving efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness while reducing environmental impact.
The software enables real-time collaboration between engineering and operations teams, empowering them to make faster, data-driven decisions.
Key features include streamlined approvals, automated reporting, and seamless system integration.
Jon Bell, CEO of MODS, highlighted the importance of this partnership: “Securing this new client reinforces MODS’ position as a trusted technology partner in the energy sector.
“MODS Connect is setting the standard for intelligent asset management by helping clients enhance efficiency, cut costs, and improve safety across offshore and industrial environments.”
The consultancy’s global operations in regions such as the UK, Australia, the Middle East, and South America will benefit from MODS Connect’s deployment.
The implementation will be supported by MODS’ Aberdeen-based team to ensure smooth onboarding through training and technical assistance.
This contract underscores MODS’ commitment to driving digital transformation in industrial asset management.
By offering a flexible and comprehensive solution tailored to individual projects or entire portfolios, MODS Connect is poised to revolutionise how assets are managed in the energy sector.
