ESP has been serving the oil and gas industry since 1973, helping industries protect people and assets worldwide. Today, our R&D efforts are focused on creating innovative new solutions to meet the rigorous environmental and performance challenges faced by various industries.
No matter how extreme or demanding the conditions, the health and safety of your people comes first. That’s why ESP is dedicated to offering the most comprehensive and advanced flame and gas detection technologies available. Our integrated flame detection and gas leak detection systems are designed to excel under the toughest conditions to help you streamline day-to-day operations and, more importantly, keep your people safe.
Our wide selection of acoustic gas, fire and flame detectors are explosion proof and certified to meet the most demanding performance standards in the industry, including FM, ATEX, IECEx, GOST, and ABS. Our detectors are widely used in hazardous locations that demand high performance, reliability, and continuous integrity levels. The achievement of SIL3 is a true indicator of product data reliability, and highlights the strong foundation ESP is built upon.
We offer a wide array of products, including the TGAES open path system which has the industry’s longest detection range up to 200 metres, the IPES IR4000 which has the widest field of view 120 degrees with the extended detection range up to 105 metres, the SGOES combustible gas detector which has an unmatched calibration interval of two years, and the IPES flame detector product family which can withstand operating temperatures of up to 125 degrees C.
SP Safety’s products are robust, highly reliable, SIL2 and 3 rated by the leading regulatory agencies such as Exida and TUV. We carry a great pride in our products’ quality and performance, and is the reason behind offering the industry’s longest five-year warranty with over 500,000 units installed.
The majority of our detectors do not require replacement parts over their lifetime and require minimum maintenance. Each ESP Safety detector has a fail-to-safe design with continuous built-in test functions to notify of any malfunctions if they occur. The toxic gas detector, which is replaced every two years and calibrated more frequently than infrared sensors, can be swapped in the field with minimum downtime.
The latest generation PGU sensor includes an automatic calibration feature that notifies the operator when it is time to replace the sensor, assisting with preventive maintenance. The calibration itself is very intuitive and can be performed with minimum training.
Our flame and gas detectors offer customers a variety of detection technologies that offer real solutions to their flame and gas detection applications. Every detector we offer provides customers with reliable service and long-lasting field performance in the harshest of environments, all at the industry’s best pricing.
While in operation, the ESP flame detectors provide operational status information outputs to the monitoring and alarm systems they are connected to. Upon detection of a flame or gas, fire event or gas leak, ESP’s flame and gas detectors transfer an alarm signal to the UPES Multi-Channel Controller,
FireAIM PLC system or to any other analog/digital signal control device, so that alarms can be sent to emergency response systems such as warning systems, automatic ventilation systems, sprinkler/deluge systems, and facility shutdown controls.
We are looking forward to serve you on your upcoming projects to experience first-hand premium service. We offer presales assistance to recommend the right solution or placement for your application, design assistance, or 3D mapping.
We also assure that any product installed is operating according to your expectations. We also offer technical support and training by our team of engineers who will assist you throughout the duration of your project. We pride ourselves in the quality of our products, and as result the standard product warranty for most of our products is five years and the design life is 20 years.
