Valve management services company Score Group has broadened its reach in the Asia Pacific region through the amalgamation of its Australian operations.
Now trading as Score Australasia Pty Ltd, the company’s facilities in Perth, Western Australia, are now the regional headquarters for its Asia Pacific businesses. The move strengthens and streamlines Score’s operations in Australia, which includes sites in Karratha, Gladstone and Chinchilla, with a new facility in Darwin soon to be opened. This will provide synergies for the local market, by combining Score’s expertise in engineering services, enabling an enhanced and more efficient approach to customer service. The merger will also help the business focus on developing new opportunities across the region and establishing closer working relationships with its customers and OEM partners.
Marking the company’s twenty-second year in Australia: Score Australasia offers full sales and technical customer support services across the country. The company’s complete product and service capabilities encompass valve supply; repair/overhaul; inspection and diagnostic services; extensive in-house valve/actuator stock; specialised testing services; warehouse and inventory management; onsite flange machining/management; component manufacture and coatings, including thermal spray. Matthew Kilgallon has been appointed business development manager for the company’s Asia Pacific interests and will lead on the company’s efforts to streamline the company’s capabilities, ensuring a collaborated approach to all services for its customers.
