Woodside and Viva Energy have entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to progress discussions on capacity rights at Viva Energy’s proposed LNG regasification terminal in Geelong, which could enable Woodside to supply LNG to the east coast Australian market. Buru Energy Limited is likely to spud its development well at Ungani Oilfield this week, with the mobilisation of the Ensign 963 rig to site approximately 60 per cent complete. Western Gas is pleased to announce that it has executed the formal contract with Valaris for the MS-1 semi-submersible rig to drill the Sasanof-1 exploration well.
