On 27 August, production started from Equinor’s Troll phase 3 project in the Norwegian North Sea. The project has a break-even price below $10 and CO2 emissions of less than 0.1 kg per barrel oil equivalent. Eni has commenced production of the Cuica Field, in Block 15/06, offshore of Angola, via the Armada Olombendo Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel. Eni has reported an oil find in Upper Miocene sequences on the Sayulita Exploration Prospect in Block 10 in the mid-deep water of the Cuenca Salina Sureste Basin, offshore of Mexico.
