Five-well drilling program commences in Bowen Basin

Denison Gas Limited has announced the commencement of a five-well drilling program to facilitate the expansion of production and reserves throughout its Denison North and South Project regions. Targeted plays for the wells include tight gas, conventional gas, and coal seam gas in established gas fields as well as new formations in promising regions. The Australian Federal Court has ruled in favour of Santos in the case of Munkara v Santos NA Barossa Pty Ltd — dismissing the application and discharging the injunction that prevented pipelay activities south of the kilometre 86 (KP86) point along the Barossa Gas Export Pipeline. A syndicate of sophisticated investors has agreed to inject $3.5 million into Pilot Energy (ASX:PGY) to progress the company’s flagship Mid West Clean Energy Project (MWCEP) in Western Australia. Equinor to acquire more interest in North Sea discoveries

Equinor has signed an agreement to acquire equity interest in five discoveries in the Troll, Fram and Kvitebjørn area in the North Sea on the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS) from Wellesley Petroleum AS. Since 2019, Equinor has made seven discoveries in this area. The transaction adds to Equinor’s equity share in the following discoveries: An additional 18.8% in Grosbeak, 45% in Toppand, 40% in Atlantis and 20% in Røver Nord and Røver Sør. TotalEnergies has agreed to acquire CEPSA’s upstream assets in Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates with an effective date of 1 January 2023. The assets to be acquired inlcude a 20 per cent participating interest in the Satah Al Razboot (SARB), Umm Lulu, Bin Nasher and Al Bateel (SARB and Umm Lulu) offshore concession. The SARB and Umm Lulu concession includes two major offshore fields. ADNOC holds a 60 per cent interest in this concession, alongside OMV (20%). The concession is operated by ADNOC Offshore. bp has launched the green hydrogen cluster of the Valencia region (HyVal) at its Castellón refinery in Spain. The public-private collaborative initiative is intended to be based around the phased development of up to 2GW of electrolysis capacity by 2030 for producing green hydrogen at bp’s refinery. Equinor has entered into an agreement with Liwathon for the sale of the Equinor South Riding Point oil terminal at the Grand Bahama Island in the Bahamas. Brookside Energy Limited (ASX:BRK) has established commercial production and sales from its Wolf Pack Well during flow-back operations in the United States’ Anadarko Basin.
