The World LNG Summit & Awards will return to Istanbul from 1-4 December 2026, convening senior leaders from across the global LNG and gas value chain at a defining moment for energy security, investment and international trade.
Hosted with the support and patronage of Host Sponsor BOTAŞ, the 2026 event will welcome 1,500 attendees from 50 countries. With 120 speakers and 90% C-level participation, the Summit is designed to connect the policymakers, producers, buyers, traders, portfolio players, investors and infrastructure leaders shaping the direction of the global market.
For more than 25 years, the World LNG Summit & Awards has provided a trusted year-end forum where strategy, capital and policy come together. In 2026, the gathering returns as geopolitical disruption, changing supply expectations and renewed pressure on energy security continue to reshape global gas flows. The need for clear, commercially grounded dialogue – and for stronger alignment across the value chain – has rarely been greater.
Across four days, the programme will examine the market forces defining LNG’s next phase: supply and demand dynamics, energy security and strategic risk, infrastructure investment, financing, contractual and trading innovation, shipping and logistical constraints, and the role of LNG in a pragmatic global energy system that balances security, affordability and sustainability. Discussions will focus on practical delivery, resilient new markets and the partnerships required to support long-term growth.
The programme begins on 1 December with specialist Masterclasses and the Traders’ Forum, followed by the World LNG Summit from 2-4 December. Delegates will also take part in invitation-only Leadership Roundtables, executive networking functions, bilateral meetings and the World LNG Awards Evening, which recognises leadership, innovation and impact across the sector.
