Brookside Energy has completed a critical infrastructure phase at its Suttles pad in in the Anadarko Basin, Oklahoma, finalising surface production facilities ahead of an upcoming two-well drilling blitz.
The company said construction of the surface facilities is complete in the SWISH Area of Interest, located within the liquids-rich Anadarko Basin.
The infrastructure has been engineered to receive, process, and support immediate oil and gas sales from the upcoming Sabres and Whalers wells.
The new setup features two independent production trains equipped with oil storage tanks, separators, heater treaters, gas conditioning equipment, and vapour combustion systems designed for safe and environmentally compliant operations.
Additionally, Oklahoma Gas & Electric has commenced electrical service works, while natural gas purchaser Enerfin Gathering Company has staked out the pipeline route to fast-track gas takeaway.
In a logistical win for operational continuity, Brookside confirmed that Kenai Drilling Rig 18 is nearing the end of its current program and will move directly to the Suttles pad upon release.
By moving a working rig and its active field crew directly from another ongoing operation, Brookside aims to bypass typical start-up friction.
The upcoming multi-well development program marks the next major step in Brookside’s repeatable growth model. The Sabres well will target the Sycamore Formation, while the Whalers well is set to tap the Woodford Formation, with both assets featuring high-impact 1.5-mile horizontal lateral sections.
Brookside CEO David Prentice said the disciplined sequencing of the project would support an efficient transition to commercial production.
“The rig and crew are already in the field, systems are active, and we expect that continuity to support an efficient transition to our location,” Prentice said.
“The Suttles pad is the next step in our repeatable, multi-well development model in the SWISH AOI and reflects the disciplined way we are sequencing activity to grow production and build scale.”
