WorleyParsons has been awarded the Chevron contract expansion in Western Australia and haswon a new three-year contract by NOVA Chemicals, for the continued engineering on the Corunna Cracker Expansion Project (Canada).

The new three-year contract is related to the Corunna Cracker Expansion Project, which is located in Ontario, Canada. The award to WorleyParsons follows the successful completion of services to Phase 2 of the project’s development. Under the new contract, WorleyParsons is set to provide engineering, procurement, construction management and project management services, and will be executed from the company’s North America office and other relevant offices.

“We are pleased to announce this award, which extends our services to the project and continues our strong relationship with NOVA Chemicals”, said Andrew Wood, Chief Executive Office of WorleyParsons.

In Australia, the company will provide brownfield engineering services to support the onshore and offshore Gorgon and Wheatstone LNG assets and the Barrow and Thevenard Islands oil assets. This service will take place from the company’s Western Australia office, amongst others.

“We are proud that Chevron continues to choose WorleyParsons and we look forward to growing our relationship with Chevron,” commented Wood on the announcement today.
