Independent research and advisory firm, Verdantix, has named Wood a leader in digital for its asset management technology implementation services.
Wood stood out among 10 shortlisted companies evaluated in Verdantix’s 2024 Green Quadrant report — receiving the highest overall scores for its innovative approach to asset management technology in the energy sector.
Wood has a track record of delivering tangible benefits through its digital asset health solutions for clients.
This includes a 25 per cent reduction in maintenance costs for a client by utilising AI-driven predictive maintenance improvements and eliminating 500 offshore visits by deploying an asset digital twin on five offshore facilities.
Wood’s advanced net-zero transition plans, backed by ESG reporting credentials, also contributed to its accolade.
Wood – Consulting – Executive President Azad Hessamodini expressed pride in the recognition, as he stated: “This is great, independent peer recognition of Wood’s market-leading digital solutions and our ability to implement them.
“We believe good health is an asset; our specialist digital consultancy services and solutions use operational technology and data to optimise asset performance and efficiencies, reducing downtime for our clients across energy and materials markets.”
Verdantix Industry Analyst Hugo Fuller noted: “As industrial organisations increasingly prioritise both decarbonisation and operational efficiency, investment in implementation services is on the rise.
“Despite economic uncertainties, budgets remain robust, reflecting industrial firms’ recognition of the vital role digital solutions play in maintaining competitiveness.
“Demonstrating an innovation-led approach and deep expertise, Wood stands out for its market-leading coverage of the supporting technology implementations.
Fuller also stated that Wood was also the only Green Quadrant respondent to provide a robust implementation record for energy management software reflecting the company’s focus on sustainability.
With over two decades of experience as an industry-leading digital systems integrator, Wood has executed over 1,500 asset management technology implementation projects in the last 12 months.
