A syndicate of sophisticated investors has agreed to inject $3.5 million into Pilot Energy (ASX:PGY) to progress the company’s flagship Mid West Clean Energy Project (MWCEP) in Western Australia. Santos has announced in its latest ASX investor update that a final investment decision (FID) on its Narrabri gas project will not take place until 2025. This comes after the Australian federal government recently announced it will reassess the company’s Hunter Gas Pipeline under Commonwealth environmental laws. The project decision will remain open until 8 December 2023. Equinor’s Martin Linge field has been officially opened offshore Norway’s coast. The gas will be transported through a new pipeline connecting the field to the existing pipeline going to St. Fergus, Scotland. Woodside Energy Trading Singapore Pte Ltd has signed a heads of agreement (HOA) with Commonwealth LNG to negotiate a sale and purchase agreement for the supply of LNG from the proposed Commonwealth LNG development in Louisiana, USA.
