Amber-Jade Sanderson, has granted environmental approval of the State waters (nearshore) component for Woodside’s proposed Scarborough development. Senex delivers Surat Basin natural gas reserves upgrade

Senex Energy Limited has released its independently assessed [1] estimates of reserves as at 30 June 2021, reporting a 24 per cent increase in Surat Basin 1P gas reserves to 261 petajoules (PJ) and a 290 per cent reserves replacement ratio (RRR) on 2P reserves of 767 PJ (up 4 per cent). Disability support and employment provider, Workpower, has been awarded a contract with NTC Contracting to support Chevron Australia with the rehabilitation of Thevenard Island in the Pilbara region, Western Australia. In preparation for a targeted final investment decision (FID) later this year, Woodside has finalised technical work to support execution readiness and completed an update of the capital expenditure requirements for the Scarborough development. The largest infrastructure project in the history of the Port of Townsville has reached a major milestone this week, with the completion of the $232 million Channel Upgrade project’s rock wall. The investigation has confirmed that the technical issue is related to the transformer delivering power to the IP gas compressor.
