Mineral Resources expands gas exploration footprint

Mineral Resources Limited (MRL) has been successful in the recent Western Australian Government Petroleum Acreage Release, with the award of two highly prospective gas exploration permits in the Perth and Northern Carnarvon Basins. Construction will get underway this year on a 250-megawatt (MW), one-hour duration grid-scale battery at Torrens Island, following AGL’s final investment decision (FID) on the project. Strike Energy Limited has announced positive logging while drilling (LWD) results at its West Erregulla 4 well. Strike is preparing to run a full suite of wireline logging tools in order to confirm these initial results.
