Woodside, with the support of the Western Australian state government, is planning to establish a world-scale hydrogen and ammonia production facility at a site in southern metropolitan Perth. New technology is bringing Queensland one step closer to a $1 billion sustainable, export-oriented industrial biotechnology and bioproducts sector. Mercurius has finalised commissioning and is about to commence operations at its pilot plant that will produce valuable renewable chemicals, diesel and jet fuel from sugarcane waste. The Eldfisk North Project, situated in PL018, is a joint effort of TotalEnergies EP Norge AS (39.896%), ConocoPhillips Skandinavia AS (35.112%), Vår Energi ASA (12.388%), Sval Energi AS (7.604%), and Petoro AS (5%). BlueNord ASA has announced an operational occurrence with the intermediate pressure (IP) gas compressor will impact the commissioning of the new Tyra II facilities in the North Sea. The investigation has confirmed that the technical issue is related to the transformer delivering power to the IP gas compressor.
