Woodside to construct hydrogen production facility in Perth

Woodside, with the support of the Western Australian state government, is planning to establish a world-scale hydrogen and ammonia production facility at a site in southern metropolitan Perth. Hybrid micro-grid helps Santos decarbonise 

A hybrid micro-grid that will power 13 oil pump loads in South Australia’s Cooper Basin has been completed. In partnership with Santos, AGL has installed the micro-grid which utilises solar, battery storage, generators and a monitoring and control system designed to respond to dynamic changes and power requirements. Queensland bioproducts pilot plant commences operations

New technology is bringing Queensland one step closer to a $1 billion sustainable, export-oriented industrial biotechnology and bioproducts sector. Mercurius has finalised commissioning and is about to commence operations at its pilot plant that will produce valuable renewable chemicals, diesel and jet fuel from sugarcane waste. The Canadian infrastructure and investment giant, Brookfield, has reportedly abandoned its plans to invest in Woodside’s Scarborough gas development on Western Australia’s Burrup Peninsula. Woodside has submitted a revision of the North West Shelf (NWS) Project’s Angel Platform Operations Environment Plan to account for the production from a single well tieback located in the Lambert Deep reservoir. TotalEnergies expands its presence in the Orange Basin

TotalEnergies has signed, together with its partner QatarEnergy, an agreement to acquire participating interests in Block 3B/4B, offshore South Africa, from Africa Oil South Africa, Azinam (a wholly owned subsidiary of Eco Atlantic Oil and Gas) and Ricocure. Following completion of the transaction, TotalEnergies will hold a 33 per cent participating interest in Block 3B/4B and assume operatorship, while QatarEnergy will hold a 24 per cent interest.
