Senex reaches nameplate production at Surat Basin facility

Senex Energy Limited has reached nameplate production of 32 terajoules (TJ) per day (approximately 12 petajoules per year) at its Atlas natural gas processing facility in the Surat Basin. Production at the firm nameplate capacity was achieved ahead of schedule and continues to increase. Further non-firm capacity of 8 TJ/day (roughly 3 PJ/year) is also available at the Atlas facility. Beach Energy Limited has today confirmed reserves in relation to the Enterprise gas field, located in exploration permit VIC/P42(V) (Beach: 60 per cent and operator, O.G. Oil producer receives notice in relation to BP Kwinana Refinery

Perth Basin oil producer, Triangle Energy (Global) Limited, has received a notice of variation of the termination date from BP under the Crude Oil Supply Agreement, in relation to the Kwinana oil refinery in Western Australia. ExxonMobil has said the Altona Refinery is no longer considered economically viable and will be converted to an import terminal, which will ensure ongoing, reliable fuel supply for Victoria.
