(EPIK) has announced plans to include LNG bunkering services as part of its Newcastle GasDock LNG import terminal development in NSW, supporting the maritime industry in its shift towards cleaner burning marine fuel. Jemena has signed a binding Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Tamboran Resources Limited, the holder of acreage in the highly prospective Beetaloo / McArthur basin.    The MOU will see Jemena expedite plans to invest over $5 billion to increase the capacity of its Northern Gas Pipeline (NGP) while also working to extend the NGP from the Northern Territory’s Beetaloo Basin to the Wallumbilla Gas Hub in Queensland. Australian Industrial Energy Pty Ltd (AIE) has signed a lease for up to 25 years with NSW Ports for the Port Kembla Gas Terminal (PKGT) which will secure gas supply for NSW as well as providing employment and economic benefits for the Illawarra region. Santos, Western Australia’s biggest domestic gas producer, has announced a new gas sales agreement to supply natural gas to Western Australian energy solutions provider, Kleenheat. BlueNord ASA has announced an operational occurrence with the intermediate pressure (IP) gas compressor will impact the commissioning of the new Tyra II facilities in the North Sea. The investigation has confirmed that the technical issue is related to the transformer delivering power to the IP gas compressor.
